Hi,
I need some clarification if it is possible to do an IPL connection between Cisco 2801 (T1) to Cisco 1841 (E1) via Ethernet (2801) to Serial (1841).
I am unable to find any documentation about this and I need to connect our network to an offshore network.
If possible can someone provide a sample configuration for this.
TIA!

Hi Sergio, welcome to CSC.
Your question would get better response over in the WAN forum here.
There were some postings a while back there (link and link) asking the same question.
Bottom line is that if it's a true channelized T1/E1, you need to provision only 24 timeslots on the E-1 end so as not to map to invalid DS0 timeslots on the T-1 end. So your channel-group commands should not refer to anything over 24 on the E-1 end even though you could normally provision it up to 31.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Marvin. I'll post this over to the WAN forum.
