How to create an alarm based on a specific value of an SNMP Trap OID

Hi to all,

the scenario is the following:

I am receiving numerous traps from UPS (Liebert) and all of them come with default severity of Minor.

All of them belong in the category GENERIC and the condition is Generic Event.

So what i want to do is when i receive a specific trap OID with a specific value , actually only the value , for example Load On Battery  to change its severity from minor to critical and send it over with an email.

Please note that i do not want to change the severity from minor  to critical for all these alarms which is easy and can be done by using "create alarm policy". The reason is that this function affects all the messages for this specific category and i want to filter based on a specific value.

what kind of NMS system in place, you can setup alerts based on the NMS you using.

Prime 3.9 is the nms used.
