Installation of Prime Infrastructure 2.2.2

Good day,

when I try do update my Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 with update file "pi222-41.ubf" ,
I get the following error message during the upload process:

An error occurred while uploading file:
UBF with new version of update 'pi221_20150131_01' contains previous version '1.0.0' but the content of this version differs from the one installed before

Currently installed:

pi221_20150210_01.ubf

pi_2.2_device-pack_1-15.ubf

pi_2.2_device-pack_2-24.ubf

pi_2.2_device-pack_4-40.ubf

Hi Rene,

 

Looks like another patch (pi221_pp_for_build_26-5.ubf  ) need to be installed first  before you move to

pi222-41.ubf.

 

I checked it in cisco.com , I couldn't find it . Please contact TAC  to publish this patch for you.

Hi Afroz,

I have reinstall PI2.2.0 and install PI 2.2.1 V27.
In this moment, I restoring the Backup. Then I install PI2.2.2.

The procedure referred me the TAC.

TAC wrote:

[...] The only option we have is the following:

  • Reinstall PI 2.2
  • Install PI 2.2.1 version 27 maintenance release (attached to the case)
  • Restore the backup.
  • Install PI 2.2.2 patch. [...]

I also experience this issue at a customer. Is there a possibility to resolve this?

you need to installed this patch "pi221_pp_for_build_26-5.ubf " before you upgrade
