Internet access on 350 serie switch

Dear all,

I have a 350 48 P switch. I would like to configure my internet direct to the switch. I have a static addr from the ISP which can be configured on the switch as a WAN.

any suggested configuration for this?

@kieshansomai1848 hi, This switch not supports NAT. basically you cannot connect this switch directly to internet use and you need some intermediate device to do NAT such as another router, firewall, proxy server, etc.

Actually, you can connect your switch to the Internet and use it, but only as a host device.

@Kasun Bandara is correct, you'll need a device capable of NAT(/PAT) if you wish to connect multiple hosts to the Internet.

(NAT/PAT allows multiple devices to "share" a single Internet address.)

(NB: a device only supporting NAT will likely not work for you.  You'll want a device that supports NAT/PAT.)
