I have created an HTTP Operation with a url http://www.website.com:8001/11nca everything else is set at the defaults. When I try to add a collector from one of my routers I get the error:
AddCollErr
REASON: Invalid Value Specified
I have also tried the IP address with the same error. The router is a 2621XM and I can setup collectors for Echo and PathEcho and DNS just fine. it is just HTTP any ideas?

Does the "website" have any requirement for USERID/Password? Remember the probe retrieves the base HTML page only.

I thought about that after I posted and changed the website to another server that is just text with no authentication an just uses port 80 with the same results. FTP works as well.

Was there ever a resolution to this? I am using Common Services 3.0.4 and IPM 2.6 and have run into the exact same issue. The only collector I have a problem with is HTTP. I have a 2821 router and a 4506 switch configured as sources. The 2821 works just fine, but when I try to use the 4506 as the source for an HTTP collector (using the same operation as the 2821), I get a window that pops up labeled "IPM: Error Dialog Box"
AddCollErrTEST123
REASON: Invalid Value Specified
Thanks,
Kevin
