What 4500 is this (i.e. a router or the Cat4500)? What version of RME are you using? Specifically what changes are being reported?

RME version 4.0.3

Devices afected:

WS-C4510R - IOS 12.2

WS-C4506 - IOS 12.2

WS-C4507R - IOS 12.2

piece of the report:

Free Slots Changed 2007-04-30 03:02:23.953 2 1

According to this, the number of free module slots decreased by one. Please provide a show mod from this 45A10 switch. There should only be one free module slot.

The inventory change in RME is correct. This switch only has one free module. At some point, someone must have inserted a new module thus reducing the available module count from 2 to 1.

What do you think about this peace of the report to the same device (45a10).

Module Identity: ModuleID = 3000

Attribute Type of Change Time Change Detected Previous Value Current Value

HW Version Changed 2007-04-30 03:02:23.953 V09 nc??ı??ı V09 nc??ı??ı

Module Identity: ModuleID = 4000

Attribute Type of Change Time Change Detected Previous Value Current Value

HW Version Changed 2007-04-30 03:02:23.953 V09 nc??ı??ı V09 nc??ı??ı

The data appears unreadable in my browser. However, given the type of change, it appears that these modules were either upgraded or switched around in the chassis. Without more details as to what was physically done to this device, it's hard to say.

Yes, I know. Thank you for your replies, I just want you, one more think, where can I found a doc. about these information on inventory change details report.

thank you again.

All of the various inventory attributes and their descriptions are listed at http://server/help/rme/fundamentals/invent_ChangeReportFltrs.html#wp1139605 in the online help. You can also disable the tracking of changes for attributes you do not care about under RME > Admin > Inventory > Inventory Change Filter.
