Long story short. I bought I a used cisco 2801 mainly for a lab/information purposes. I have lots of newer 2901s, but I wanted to step back a generation and see the differences between them. The odd thing is, the IOS that is loaded on the router can not be found on Cisco.com's download page. Since it was a used device, I wanted to go get the MD5 hash and verify it, but the IOS version is not listed anywhere that I can see for the 2801 router. Has anyone else ran across this before?
Thanks,
David

Contact Cisco TAC and they can publish the specific IOS of your choice.

Its used. I doubt TAC would publish it for me since I have no Service contract on the router. I also just need to verify the MD5 Hash. Thats all. I dont actually need the BIN file.

Have you tried the "verify flash" command?
