Is ciscoworks support monitoring sun machines!!!!!!!

is cisco works can support monitoring sun machine.

i mean can i monitor sun machin using cisco works

LMS is not supported on Solaris running on x86 platforms, Solaris OS supports for LMS is limited to SUN SPARC (IIIi and IIIcu processor based systems)

I would recommend you to use Windows 2003 server with SP1 on your Dell Platform

i don't think ciscoworks can support monitoring any host operating system. it doesn't have features for monitoring operating system such as sun, windows or whatever. ciscoworks is solely for cisco devices and even cisco devices, they have such limitation like which devices are supporting and you need to upgrade your version and so on.so,do not waste your time trying to monitor host operating system with ciscoworks.hope this can help
