Java Error

I have a 2811 Router with IOS 12.4(3e) and SDM 2.3.1. Every time I exit the SDM I get an Unxpected error detected by Hotspot Virtual Machine: Exception_Access_Violation (0xc0000005). I have Java jre 1.5.0-b64 installed on PC running windows XP Pro. Why am I getting this error and are there any fixes?

It seems that much of Cisco's java based software doesn't like the latest JRE releases. You might have to downgrade your JRE to 1.4.x or 1.3.x.
