License key LMS 3.2.1

Our client has LMS 3.2.1 installed on a SunOS platform. As this platform is End-Of-Life they want to install LMS 3.2.1 on a Windows server. Can they use the license key of SunOS to use it for the software LMS 3.2.1 installed on Windows? They will download the LMS 3.2.1 evaluation software of 90 days from CCO and use the license key to prolonge those 90 days. Is this possible ? Is there another solution ? Remember they have a licensed LMS 3.2.1 installed but not on Windows but on SunOS !! Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike,

Exporting and Importing the .csv file , will give you ONLY the devices with it's credentials NOT the database.

AFAIK,

License should work. However the database migration will not be possible.

Thanks,

our plan is to download the evaluation software LMS 3.2.1 for Windows from CCO and install it on a server.

In order to extend the evaluation period of 90 days we try to do so with the license key we have for SunOS.

Database copy is maybe possible through export/import of a csv file. Or not?

Best regards

Mike

OK, that's correct of course. It is a start and we have no other option. I downloaded the software from CCO and next year we're planning to install it on a Windows server. Thanks for your advice.

Best regards

Mike
