Hi All
I heard a while ago from Cisco that a Linux version of LMS was in development - Does anyone have any information on whether this is indeed the case and if so when it may be available ?
Linux would be our preferred choice
Many thanks for any info
Kind regards
Marcus

Last I heard, the plans were on hold. Might want to touch base with someone in sales though.

Thanks Nadim - I'll ask our Sales Rep and post any feedback I get
Have a great weekend yourself :)

Recently took a LMS 2.5 survey which asked about offering a Linux version. If you see a survey request from Greg Ryan concerning Common Services, I suggest completing the survey and getting the votes up for a Linux version.

Thanks for your responses Phillip and Nadim
I've had an update from our Cisco Sales Engineer who has advised that porting of LMS 2.5 to Linux is at a very early stage so there are no firm release dates as yet. He has advised that he does not expect this to happen until late in 2007 at the earliest ...
So we'll have to take every opportunity to shout for Linux in the meantime ;)
Cheers
Marcus
