LMS 2.5 Shadow directory

How does the shadow directory work? I have noticed that old device files is never deleted in the shadow directory, if I delete all files

they don´t appear until the configuration is changed on the device.I want the shadow directory to match the managed devices.

The shadow directory is supposed to hold the most recent archived config of the managed devices in RME

If a device is removed from RME, its config will remain in the shadow directory

Where is the shadow directory in LMS 2.5? I can't find it on my install.

It is disabled by default

To enable it, go to RME -> Admin -> Config Mgmt -> Archive Mgmt

I enabled it but still can't find it..what is the path? Do I need to restart the server?

next time the archive is updated, the config files will be there
