LMS 2.6 - DCA Server is down or inaccessible

Hello,

We used to run LMS 2.6 on a Windows Server 2003R2 (Standard Edition). The server has been shut for about 2 years. Recently we powered it up so as to retrieve some info from the LMS application (we have some old cisco 1900switches on our network - please do not comment - and I needed to run usertracking on them, since 1900 aren't supported by our current LMS 4.1). The thing is that I get an error "DCA Server is down or inaccessible".

Looking at the DRCServer.log I see the following:

ERROR: Certificate Date Invalid
java.security.cert.CertificateExpiredException: NotAfter: Mon Oct 29 12:03:33 EET 2012

Is there a way I can change the expiration date? I am not sure if this is the problem, but I would like to give it a shot!

Hi Katerina,

It seems like your ssl certificates expired. Please regenerate them using below steps:

Steps to regenerate SSL certificates:

-       Stop the daemons manager from CLI using net stop crmdmgtd.

-       Backup the following files found in NMSROOT/MDC/Apache/conf/ssl and
then delete:

server.crt

server.csr

server.key

server.pk8

Under CLI go to \Progra~1\CSCOpx\MDC\Apache> and run

Progra~1\CSCOpx\MDC\Apache>perl ConfigSSL.pl
-disable, then ConfigSSL.pl -enable.

Then fill the certificate accordingly and restart daemons from CLI using net
start crmdmgtd.
