LMS 2.6 use CDP to discover devices. I have few switches seen as cdp neighbor on Devicecenter on one of my core switch. however all these switch are never detected by device discovery and not added on DCR.what's the probable cause?

The most likely causes are your Discovery SNMP credentials are incorrect for these devices, they are not otherwise SNMP-reachable from the LMS server, or your Discovery range does not allow those devices to be discovered.

the SNMP credentials are ok. what's "Discovery range" looks new to me. can you guide where this thing can be modified. is this on LMS or on those devices. Thank you So much!

Campus Manager > Admin > Device Discovery > Discovery Settings > IP Range. You should also verify using SNMP Walk in Device Center and the SNMP credentials configured in Discovery that you can walk sysObjectID from the missing devices.
