There are many bug fixes even in moving from 3.0.1 to 3.1. Any 3.x release can be upgraded in-line. However, I suggest performing a full backup just in case.

Hi,
First, how did you determine that your issue required the above patch? Have you considered upgrading to LMS 3.2?
Are the following packages installed on your server?
• gcc 3.4.6
• net-snmp 5.1.1
• openssl 0.9.8e.

The reason i upgraded the server from 3.0 to 3.0.1 was the need to install CV and rme device packages for the newest devices on my network.
Is there any way to install 3.2 without a fresh installation? if so that solve my problem
