LMS 3.1 - How to limit syslog_info log file size ?

I would like to know if there is a method to limit the syslog_info log file size in LMS 3.1 Solaris.

Why yes there is! LMS 3.1 has incorporated a GUI to logrot.pl so it makes it a snap to configure.

Go to the CiscoWorks home page and select Common Services > Server > Admin > Log Rotation

Click on add, dril down to the location of your syslog_info file and configure how large you want it to get and how many backups you want to keep.

I try that but it doesn't work. Size is not limited.

Do you have another idea ?

Please post your NMSROOT\objects\logrot\logrot.conf as well as the output of:

NMSROOT\bin\perl NMSROOT\bin\logrot.pl -v
