Troubleshooting

IC_Server.log shows the following error-messages

Device-Type: Cat4506 with  Version NmpSW: 7.4(2)

Are there any know issues with that device-type and Inventory-Collectinon?

Thanks for any feedback.

Try increasing the SNMP timeout to begin with. Go to RME > Devices > Device Management > RME Devices. Select your device on the Device Selector and click on 'Edit Device Attributes'. Next, click on 'Inline Edit' and set an SNMP timeout value of 90 seconds to test. Save the changes by clicking on 'Modify'.

If still no go, please provide the sysObjectID of this device and show tech along with the latest IC_Server.log with debugging.

Hi Joe,

unfortunately increasing of snmp-timeout did resolve the issue.

SysObjId: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.59

Please find attached: sh tech, IC_Server.log with debugging

Hi Joe,

increasing SNMP-Timeout resolved the problem.

I changed the wrong parameter in the attributes.

Great, you might want to bump down the amount of seconds now to optimize it. I suggested to set to 90 just as testing but it will probably work with a lower setting.
