Hello everyone!
One of our end customers is running LMS 3.2, have encountered an issue where almost all his devices became "missing" in his device list. (about 50 devices)
As far as we know there werent any changes in the server or the database, we also tried re-discovering the network without any success.
We also checked all devices for connectivity with the server - all devices were able to reach the server and back.
Is there any other troubleshooting steps you may suggest?
Thanks in advance,
Daniel.

Hello Afroz and thank you for your reply.
We managed to bring the devices back after restarting the server.
Now we wish to figure out (if possible) what casued this issue.
Are there any log files we can take out to examine the issue?
If there are such files, please also add the full path to the files (sorry for my requests, but im new to LMS)
Thanks in advance,

An RCA would be difficult to know after the reboot. It is mostly the DCRServer processes, or OGS services might be down, which may have caused the devices not to show up.
You can check NMSROOT/log/dcrserver.log and OGSServer and client.log and syslog.log may show if the processes went down.
You can also check the event viewer if it has any LMS related tasks.
Next time if it happens, it will be easier to run command - pdshow from server command prompt or /opt/CSCOpx/bin/pdshow from server console (Sol) to check if any processes are down in LMS, where we can know the affected services.
-Thanks
Vinod
