Is there any official news yet regarding LMS 4.0 (server requirements, will be able to upgrade from LMS 3.2, etc)? If not, do you know around when this information would be available?

Not yet. Something should be coming most likely in April.

(pure speculation follows)
All of the modern LMS versions have provided upgrade paths between subsequent major releases. One could reasonably expect a seamless upgrade from LMS 3.2 to 4.0 (or 3.3).
Given that LMS 3.2 was released ca. May 2009, ca. May-June 2010 would be consistent with the annual major release cycle that LMS has been following.
I would speculate that we will see support of Windows Server 2008 R2 as a host platform, better integration of add-ons like HUM (perhaps at no cost now), enhancements of CWA to better leverage the sometimes baffling array of components, and (very wishful thinking) reduction of the memory hog nature of al the Java components on the server.
