Hello,
I have been having problems getting devices into DFM once I enable fault management.
I am now having issues with the basic LMS / RME
I am getting the following issue:
"No Device exists in LMS or Inventory is not collected for devices."
I experienced this before and resolved by reapplying the licence.
Where to next ? any suggestions?
The issue has gone from - all devices discovered and added to LMS and DCR ok
Turned on Layer 2 Topology and Faults and then no devices appearing in DFM.
after restarting the Daemon manger I have no devices in LMS. total device approx 1900 - standalone setup.
License Info
License Type | Permanent[LMS] |
Device Count | 5000 |

Ok issues resolved by removing and re-applying the licence file after a daemon restart.
This appears to be a common issue and fix?
Thanks
Dave

I'm seeing this from time to time on LMS 4.0, the 4.01 and on the 4.1 beta.
I've seen it appear after running a device package update.
And to resolve ussually a stop and start of the deamon manager is sufficient.
Did you even get to the bottom of this? Any permanent sollution?
Cheers,
Michel

I've the same problem on LMS 4.0.1, but the deamon restart doesn't solve this issue. If you have another workaround, please post it.
Thanks.

Happened to me a couple of times I had reboot the entire server to get this resolved. Has anyone tried contacting TAC?
