Hi All
I went through the document for 4.2 Prime upgrade:
Is 4.1 to 4.2 a straighforward upgrade ? click click click ? or should we take care , backup the database, restore it etc , for the overall upgrade ?
any pointers here would help.
Regards
Raj

The upgrade is straightforward. "click click click" (in the GUI) on Windows or "clackety clackety" (from command line) if you're running the soft appliance
Still, if it's a production server, I'd make sure you have a current backup just in case. that's just a good habit.
If you follow the install guide carefully it should go well. the only tip besides making a backup I give would be to make sure the LMS server is healthy (all processes running as expected) before you start. Upgrading a broken server may result in a "more broken" one.

Thanks. Ill give it a shot...
One basic question - This is running on a VM, and the server team backs up the whole data to an external storage. Is there a way we can do a manual backup, just incase we need it ? If so, should we backup the whole Prime LMS folder, and is it possible to restore the app with that folder ?
