How to backup the configuration of Cisco devices managed by LMS 4.2 and store it in Folder , than restore it once it need it

It's all in the Configuration Management guide, chapter 6: link
If you're rolling out changes via NetConfig, you can also roll them back (chapter 5 of the same guide).
If you want to see all of the configuration files as just plain text files, LMS stores them in a shadow directory. You really shouldn't be working from that though once you integrate your configuration management processes into an LMS workflow.

rConfig is completely Open Source and has nothing to do with Cisco products.
Ian, what error are you getting, you will need to login to access the download page. PM me the error or screenshot of the problem.

There was a bug on the public site where an incorrcet password gave a 500 error. This is now fixed.
