LMS Discovery

Hi, using LMS 3.0 I have discovered multiple devices from Campus Manager. However 2960s with different PIDs on LAN LITE IOS appear as unknown device type? Therefore I am unable to collect configs, Inventory etc. - I do have other 2960s on the system, lots of them so I know it is not a device pack issue. Has anyone come across this?

HI ,

Try to Update the Device Packges of Campsu Manager and see how it works !!!

Go to common service > software center > Device Update >>> Select Campus Manager > click on check for updates  and update the Device pacakges ...

Thanks Afroj - I have tried that already and I get a message saying there are no availabl

e updates. I am on CM 5.0.1,do you have any further

suggestions?

Hi ,

The Device (WS-C2960S) is not supported in LMS 3.0.1 (CM 5.0.1) :

Please upgrade the  LMS from LMS 3.0.1  to  LMS 3.2 and its free for you as it would be a Minor Upgarde :

You  can download the Evaluation version of LMS 3.2 from the below link and  you do not need a different License for LMS 3.2 you Existing License of  LMS 3.0.1 would work Perfectly.
