Hi,

Please Advise if we configure Logrot for Syslog.log and

after it gets rotated will RME be able to bring the report from

the rotated logs as well?

Or it will rotate the log size after it reaches the specified

size and the syslog.log becomes 0kb and when the fresh syslog

messages gets accumulated, it will get the logs report genrated from

there.

-Thanks

RME reads the messages out of syslog.log, and stores them in its database. So reports can be run against messages which may have been rotated out of syslog.log provided they have not yet been purged from the database. By default, syslog purging happens every seven days, but this is configurable under RME > Admin > Syslog > Set Purge Policy.
