You can display information about the links between devices in your network.

From a Network Topology View, right-click a link and select Link Attributes from the popup menu, or select Reports > Link Attributes. The Link Attributes window opens.

That can tell you following details :

Field

Description

From

Device from which link originates

To

Device at which link ends

Device

Device name

Interface

Port to which link is connected on the originating and ending devices

Type

Media type of the link, such as Ethernet

Speed

Speed of the link, such as 10Mbps, which is 10 megabits per second, or 100Mbps, which is 100 megabits per seco

That should include the details you want. And that is the max info it can display.

Customer would like to see permanently IP addreses on map on all links.

Unfortunately, that is not an available option in LMS. Only two ways to see link details are to mouse hover to see IP details or Generate Link Attribute report.

Thanks, i understans that ;-)

Thanks for your understanding! As LMS could not serve many things needed in market, this could be a good feature to help other's as well.

You can contact your accounts team to raise a Product Enhancement request, which can be considered for Cisco Prime Infrastructure, as any LMS development is not possible of it being obsolete.

Please close this thread to mark it resolved if no further info is needed.
