I want to add IOS images to the Software Repository from Cisco.com, but I don’t want the LMS server to access the internet expect for IOS downloads. Is there a pool of IP addresses that is used for IOS download that I can allow the LMS server to access?
Regards
Reidar

No. LMS will use www.cisco.com (72.163.4.161) for all Cisco.com interaction (not just SWIM). Some of this will happen over HTTP and some over HTTPS.

Hi
If I do an nslookup on cisco.com I get 198.133.219.25, is that server located in Europe?
I opened the firewall to allow access to 72.163.4.161, and for IOS download it works fine, but for
Software Update it doesn’t work, is there a separate IP address for that?
Regards
Reidar
