MAC Address & Cisco Interface ID

Not applicable

Appreciate any ideas, if poss please!

I need to ultimately map 500+ MAC address's (all which I have), to the individual interfaces across approx. 60 Cisco switches.

Am aware of the 'sh mac address-table address [mac address]' command, which is fine when only requiring a handful of interfaces, however for 500, it may take sometime.

Is anyone aware of any downloads or utilities, either Cisco or 3rd Party, which can help me achieve this.

Will be a fairly painful exercise running through each one manually!

Many Thanks,

Paul

I assume you're tasked to map out user devices to access switches?

I would advise against this, as it's a waste of time and never is actually useful. May I know what you/your company is trying to accomplish by having a map like this?

That being said, you're looking to do some form of bulk configuration management. You can use scripting, if you have the knowledge, or use software designed for such tasks.
