I'm working to suggest a new network design for our medium sites. So, I'd like to have your opinion about. Today we have a per block network design WAN, INET, OOB, CORE, DC, CAMPUS. Currently each block has devices for access and distribution layers. My goal is to collapse these layers, because some sites have switches for only 2 ports. My suggestion is to have 2 dedicated CORE network with 2 switches for redundancy, then 2 Aggregation switches with VRFs with each network block. Also we'd to keep as simple as possible, so no VRF leaking, every inter VRF communication should pass through the CORE layer.
