Hello,
when I open the syslog viewer it seems that I am missing logs! The devices are correctly configured with the IP of PI as their syslog server, but not all logged messages show up. Where can I see if the log messages do actually reach PI? How can I check if the messages I am looking for are filtered?
Thank you in advance,
Katerina

It seems that the problem is not in Prime Infrastructure, but in the routers themselves. I captured the packets leaving the routers and going to Prime server, and although the OSPF logs are generated, they are not sent to Prime or any other log server for that matter. Other logs are sent! I am not filtering any logs and the logging trap level is set to debugging. I will move this post to another area and hope for the best!

hello Katerina,
You can check any port blocking which is causing a packet drop.
or take a packet capture to identify if Pi is actually receiving the traps.
If not then i suggest you engage the TAC
Thanks,
Gautami

Hello,
I have already captured the syslog packets leaving the router and the logs related to OSPF, in which I am interested, never leave the router.
I will open a TAC case.
Thank you
