Hello,
I've notice a few ports on some of our switches have input errors, CRC's, Collisions etc. Rather than me manually view each interface on a switch from time to time, what options do I have? Can this info be pumped to a syslof server or are there free tools to help?
Thanks

You can enable snmpd for the switches and poll these values with a lots of products (Nagios, Zabbix) using them to create graph etc...
Bye.

So would you need to run a MIB walk to fine the OID's?

Yes,
otherwise you can find these OID's using google or the cisco mibs documentation.
Bye

Hi Andy
Since you already have Orion NPM you already have this information in the NPM.
You do not need to do a mibwalk or something like this.
just click on the interface you want to look at and the information will be at your fingertips.
for everyone to take a look there is a demo online.

Click on "TOP 10" in the top row.
somewhere in the middle in the right pane you have the errors and discards.
