Since everyone has been working from home, our Internet usage has gone up substantially, and we're concerned we might go over our ISP data cap.
Is there a way to monitor the amount of data in and out of an interface in a month? We are using PRTG for general network monitoring, but we opened up a ticket with them, and it looks like it's not possible.
We are running a Cisco Catalyst 2950G switch and it would be nice to monitor the interface statistics connecting to our Centurylink router / modem combo running in transparent bridge mode.
Does anyone know if there is another network monitoring solution that would work? We are looking for something quick and turnkey (no manual intervention or clearing of interface statistics, etc).
Edit: I'm sure there is a way to check the data usage by logging into our ISP account, but that requires manual intervention. We'd also like to see data that is "near realtime".
