NAM Unknown traffic

Is there anyway to narrow the amount of unknown traffic from the results delivered by a Cisco NAM appliance?

You should be able to manually identify and customize the protocol directory,identifying them by the port number or the ip address.also depending on the version you'd be able to update the protocol pack as well.
