Need opinion on Network Monitoring System

Hi,

Currently, we are reviewing our network management system in which we're looking at HP Open View NNM 7.51 and applications like NCM and RAMS.

We would like to make comparison with HP Open view solution with the existing systems such as stated below :

(a) Open Service NerveCenter

(b) Netcool

(c) HP Open View NNM

Appreciate a lot if anyone have any experience of using the above NMS. We would like to run monitoring on a single platform which is HP Open View NNM which is still under investigation.

I have some experience of HP Open View and I can say that it is very easy to configure and manage. But if you have some deployment of IBM Tivoli in your infrastructure then you should probably go with Netcool as it will be easy to integrate it with other services. Any way all solutions are almost good, but I do like HP Open View.
