Netflow export questions

Hi experts 

i have  a question on netflow statistics collection  and sending of info to a collector

1) is it possible to collect statics on version 9  and export them to version 5 format , if collector only supports version 5 ?

ie is below a valid config ?

int e0/0

ip flow ingress

ip flow-export version 5

ip flow-export version 5 destination   10.1.1.100  5000

ip flow-export version 9  peer-as

2) let  say we  want to export  main cache  entries in version 5 format  and aggregation cache entries in version 9 format . Is this possible ?

Hello, 

You can export the same details in NetFlow v9 that you can in v5 but, you can't use v9 to export v5 because v9 exports templates and v5 doesn't.  Templates tell the collector what to expect in the flows.  

Regarding: let say we  want to export  main cache  entries in version 5 format  and aggregation cache entries in version 9 format . Is this possible ?  I haven't tried this but, it should work.
