I have an issue with Netflow that I have been unable to solve. I have an ASA5510 that is sending netflow data to a FogLight NMS and it works fine until I reboot the server. After the server is rebooted, the flows no longer are received until I reload the ASA. Once the ASA is rebooted, flows work fine. I can remove and reconfigure the netflow configuration on the ASA and that will start the netflow again, but that is painful.
Is there any way to easily stop/restart or re-initiate the netflow from the ASA easily? Thanks for any assistance.

You can't restart the process per se but I might suggest try changing the timeout rate on the Netflow template using the
"flow-export template timeout-rate" command to "bump" the process timer.

You can restart the netflow using the negate command as in " no flow-export destination " followed by another command "
flow-export destination" to restart the netflow immediately.
