New 4500X & Service Unsupported Transceiver

Does the new 4500X still support "Service Unsupported Transceiver" issue ?

The command by definition is not "supported".

It does work on the 4500X though - I've used it myself.

I would recommend you to first transfer this post to Lan Switching community here, to get more attention from switching experts who work on 45xx platform.

I am not a switching expert, but AFAIK this command still seems to be accepted on the new 4500x platform

This is more of a hidden command, and you don't need this if the optics/SFP's are working fine.

So I think, if you are facing an issue with SFP/SFP+ with this switch, you can try to configure this command and see it goes away. If they are working fine, it should not bother.

You need to be more precise on what concern's you about this command.
