Hi

I were using ngenius real-time monitor along winth Cisoworks 2000.Now its licence is expired.Pl guide me how to renew it.

nGenius RTM license is expired could be related to

one of the following bug id's:

CSCdy56175 or CSCdy40159

I am not using Solarisis>i am uusing Ciscoworks on Win2k Professional & on same machine I have installed nGenius RTM 1.2.I can not open it because of licence error.It does not authenthificate user ID & password.I have reinsttalled it 3 times.

RTM 1.2? This has been replaced by 1.3 and then 1.4

(which is now end of sales)

It's quite possible that 1.2 has some expiration date in it. These steps might be worth trying:

1. Stop the nGenius Server.

2. Insert the Cisco RTM Installation CD.

3. Go to the \bin\admin directory of the RTM installation.

4. Delete or rename the .license.properties file (if you see it).

5. Go to the \bin directory of the RTM installation.

6. Execute License.bat

7. The license utility may flash (no user input is required).

8. Restart the nGenius Server.
