Maybe I am missing something here, but was wondering if anyone has ever come across an OID that specifically returns the CRC error counter for stacking cables on the CAT9300 platform?
The best I've got so far is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.500.1.2.1.1.6, which shows you the stack members' operational state, but nothing about stacking cables. The rationale behind monitoring CRCs on stacking cables is that we could potentially detect stacking cables going bad prematurely and prevent stacking members from going down in the middle of the day.
For example, show switch stack-ports detail shows the following CRC counters in one of the members:
CRC Errors
Data CRC 2051
Ringword CRC 3943
InvRingWord 1678
PcsCodeWord 4620
I have checked snmp.cloudapps.cisco.com also but have found nothing promising so far.
Any thoughts?
