Hi

We currently have Cisco ACS in place which provides Identity and authentication for our wireless devices and we are using Meraki dashboard to mange the AP's and SSID, we are looking to onboard Chromebooks and Android devices and was wondering if this is supported on ACS or would this require ISE?  We currently use certificates which is managed by our PKI infrastructure which has machine name object as the identifier to authenticate via Active directory and we currrently have windows and Apple devices.

 - Nowadays it's probably becoming more advisable to migrate to ISE as ACS is becoming outdated ; here are a few resources on the matter :

Hi,

It will work with ACS as well, ISE will make the deployment on the mobile devices smoother (as an advantage). ISE also allows you do raise the security bar, by using posture, MDM integration for mobile device management, and other features. Also ACS support ends in 2021 i think. At the same time, if you're happy with what you have now and just need to enrol Chrome and Android, ACS will work.
