Hey Everyone,
I'd like to get Prime to notify me when an EIGRP adjacency goes up or down on our network. I am working on migrating us from LMS 4.2 to PI 3.0, and I do have this working in effectively the same way on LMS.
What I've done is create a custom syslog event that reads the following
Event Message: DUAL-*-5-NBRCHANGE:*
Severity: Critical
I don't seem to receive these notifications when we have issues. It is possible that I haven't experienced one on a device that's been migrated to PI, but considering the number of devices now sending syslog to the server, and the issues I've had in the past few weeks, I'd almost guarantee there's been a dozen or more that should have been generated.
Does anyone have an idea why this isn't working as intended on Prime?
