Hi guys,
I´m just curious about how frecuently do you poll your devices with Ciscoworks or any other tool. We have about 1000+ systems between routers and switches currently being polled by a variety of NMS servers (MRTG, Netcool. And I just received a complaint from our storage guys cause we´re consuming too much disk space (they say). So they´re asking me to decrease the frecuency in order to lower our consumption. I say this is BS, anyway I´m looking for resources that back up my opinion. Or something that convince me to poll every 15 mins instead.
Any ideas will be welcome.
