Hello all, we are seeing SNMP connection failure as a status for Last Inventory Collection when looking at our monitored devices in PI 2.2. More information is provided stating what failed (various reasons like not collecting CDP information) and possible causes. Possible causes only list an SNMP time and it states to verify the device credentials (which we have done) and verify SNMP response speed from the device. How do I do that? And is there a way to tune PI so it will wait longer for a response before timing out the request?
Please advise and thanks for your help.
Jeff

You can adjust the SNMP settings (including timeout) for Prime at Administration > System Settings > SNMP Settings

Thank you for the heads up as we are planning on applying that next week!
I will adjust the timer and see if that resolves. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
