Hi PI Experts,
We want to use public and private snmp strings to scan network just in case there are some Cisco devices left with this snmp settings.
However, we don't want PI pick up other devices like printers, servers, and etc.
Currently, the way we are doing is by putting in the System OID Filter to exclude other devices.
It is time consuming to key in OID one by one.
I have two questions here.
Thanks
Cedar

Hi Cedar,
AFAIK , there is no way to import the OID template in the discovery settings. If it is really a critical concern for you then you can discuss this will your accounts team to raise the Product Enhancement request for this feature.
2.
what you are doing right now by excluding the system OID of the devices like printer etc is the best way to handle this suituation though it is a tedious task
