Prime Infrastructure 1.2 Login Problem: https://SERVERNAME/webacs/j_spring_security_check

Hello,

when I enter the login page to Cisco Prima Infrasturcture 1.2 via https://SERVERNAME/webacs I can enter my user credentials. After pressing login, I get redirector to the following URL https://SERVERNAME/webacs/j_spring_security_check. After this I get the following output at the website

{"message":"Could not open Hibernate Session for transaction; nested exception is org.hibernate.exception.JDBCConnectionException: Cannot open connection"}

Has anybody any idea, how I can fix the problem?

Hello,

I solved the problem by reinstalling the correct Java, Flash and browser version.

I used:

• latest Flash
• latest Java
• Firefox 14.0.1 (because this is the last version which can display the Service Selection Rules of an ACS 5.4, was another Problem)

This works with Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit), 2k8 R2 (32- and 64-bit)

Hi Kai:

Those kind of "...I could log in yesterday, but not today..." kinds of issues--assuming that NCS status is all good--indicate browser issues.  Usually clearing the cache of everything and trying again clears the problem.  Upgrading browsers, Java and Flash never hurt either.
