Good Morning,
I'm currently trying to deploy Gibraltar 16.12.5B through Prime 3.7 but keep getting swim error "insufficient flash". This error started happening when trying to deploy software after 16.12.3a due to being unable to get to the 1GB free after running the "clean" commands listed below.
install remove inactive
request platform software package clean switch all
We currently have 16.12.3a on our 3650 switches that were deployed and upgraded using Prime. I noticed on this version when using the "clean" commands we typically had about 1.2GB free prior to software distribution. Attempting to deploy 16.12.4 previously is when we started to get the same "insufficient flash" through Prime but was able to manually deploy to a test switch only having 933MB free on the flash without any issues.
In Prime 3.7 I can manually change amount of required free "flash" in Gibraltar 16.12.5B under the images but don't want to do this in case this will cause issues. Also, erasing the flash prior to deployment to free up flash I would rather avoid do to having power outages in our remote locations during past upgrades. Do you know if the "insufficient flash" is a bug in the Prime 3.7 software when using software distribution to our 3650's or is manual deployment going to be the way to go do to the flash not having 1GB free?
(3650)
install remove inactive
request platform software package clean switch all
Available Flash: after cleaning

@douglas.mckee : This is bug in Cisco Prime but not sure its relevant to 3.7. I would recommend to upgrade to Prime 3.8

Inderdeeps,
I will upgrade to Prime 3.9 instead of 3.8 due to Gibraltar 16.12.5B is only showing on the compatibility matrix for the 3.9 version.
Thank you,
Doug

@douglas.mckee : Yeah that's good, Make sure check the compatibility matrix and the other features before reaching to 3.9 if available
