Hi,
We've configured Prime Infrastructure proxy setting and even then we saw PI going to the firewall to access TAC support page:
Please, check below the proxy log:

If you are using PI 2.0, it may be mostly :
CSCum47583 PI 2.0 is not able to connect to cisco.com to check for updates

I'm running 2.0. Checking the bug report and the Patch download area, there ins't a fix (patch) for this issue, right?

Unfortunately yes, there isn't a fix. Fix is planned for PI 2.0.1.
