Hi All,
First post, i've worked with Cisco for many years but we've only just started using Prime for anything other that wireless monitoring. I've added all of our network switches into the database, added modules for PSIRT and EOX, what we want to do is use Prime to locate and fix any security issues/bugs with their images.
Below is what we are running at the moment, we are still trying to work out what version we need to upgrade to.
Prime Infrastructure
3.1.0
Lifecycle 5082 Tokens
Data Center Prime Data Center Unlicensed
Data Center Hypervisor Prime Data Center Hypervisor Unlicensed
Assurance Prime Assurance Unlicensed
Collector Prime Collector Unlicensed
Build 3.1.0.0.132
Whenever I click on a device and try to use the "Login to Cisco.com for Image recommendation" I get the following error, at first I thought it was the account I was using to login but the same creds work for Cisco SSO:
Recommendation Error
PI_SWIM_20005: Could not recommend images, possible system error. Please manually import image (Inventory > Device Management > Software Images > Import) using file option.
If I go around the houses and try to apply an image from "Software Images" and then "Distribute" it allows me to go through the wizard and set an image to deploy (i've already downloaded the neccesary recommended image manually) but then it fails at the very end with this:
No device found eligible for image distribution. Please check the distribution status for details.
Is this a known bug with the version of Prime we are using? Any thoughts or assistance very much appreciated!!
