Hello, I have a Generation 1 Appliance that I am trying to install/upgrade to Prime Infrastructure 3.1 (3.1.4 supports Gen 1).
The appliance will not boot from DVD, we do not even get to the Prime Menu option boot screen.
According to the read me this should appear automatically after server initialization.
I have tried Prime Infrastructure 3.0 and 3.1 Dual Layer DVDs and explicitly telling the server to boot from DVD.
I have also tried a different DVD Drive.
The DVDs are high
Has anyone encountered this issue on

- DId you burn these DVD's yourself ? From the prime 2.2 admin guide, I get (for instance);
If you need the ISO image on disk: Burn the ISO image to a Dual Layer DVD using DVD authoring software. For reliable results, we recommend that you conduct the burn at single (1X) speed and with the “Verify” option turned on.
I presume that this will apply to your current prime version too

Hi Marce1000,
Yes, I used Nero Burning Tools and verified.
The DVD boots using a number of servers and I see the Prime Infrastructure menu/install screen, but not on the Prime Appliance.
Additionally, I have burnt working disks for the old ISE Appliance which appears to be

The DVDs and Drive were okay, there were in fact booting,

Hi Joshhunter,
I just want to ask you if you managed to install version 3.1 on your Gen1 appliance?
