I have a Cisco EPC3825 EuroDocsis 3.0 Gateway (which, by the way, seems to not exist or at least to be hard to find in Cisco databases by this name...), and I have assigned specific IP addresses to each MAC address in my network, using the option: "Pre-assigned DHCP IP addresses". After saving the changes, the information is stored and everything works properly, until the unit is switched off (e.g. because of a power failure).
Does this mean that I can't switch off the unit if I don't want to re-enter ALL the list? Even if I don't disconnect the unit, a power failure is likely to happen once or twice a year... Every gateway I've had until now kept this information stored when switched off. I think this is an important bug, does anyone know if it can be solved? Is there a new fimware version or something similar?
