I just installed LMS 4.0.1 on Windows server 2008 R2. We use an NTLM authenticating proxy, and no matter what I do I cannot get LMS to authenticate properly with the firewall. I need to enter the user name in domain\username format. Might this be what is causing the issue? Looking at the traffic on the wire, it appears that it is trying to perform the NTLM authentication, but the proxy server keeps rejecting it. Any idea how I can track this issue down?
NTLM proxies are not supported. Support for these proxies has been requested in the past and is tracked by CSCsb63904. You can work with your account team to help this along by backing this bug with a Product Enhancement Request.
